Look, our meatball sub isn’t just any sandwich. We pack it with homemade Certified Angus Beef meatballs, San Marzano tomato sauce, provolone, and Romano cheese, all on bread baked daily. At $15.95, it fills you up. But the right sides make it even better.
Every day, customers ask us: “What should I eat with this?” After years of serving Boston’s North End, we know what works.

Fresh Salads Cut Through Rich Flavors

Our house salad does the job perfectly. Spring mix, carrots, cucumber, tomato, red onion with balsamic dressing. Those crisp vegetables balance the rich meatball and cheese. It’s not complicated. That’s the point.
Caesar salad works too—hearts of romaine, Italian croutons, shaved Parmigiano. The tangy dressing wakes up your palate between bites.
Want something different? Try our tomato salad. We use backyard tomatoes, red onion, black olives, celery, cucumber, sharp provolone, and fresh basil. Simple stuff that won’t fight your sandwich for attention.

Italian Classics Make Sense

Our antipasto misto platter brings together artichokes, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, mixed olives, roasted peppers, marinated eggplant, and sharp provolone. These pickled vegetables clean your palate. That’s their purpose.
Pasta salad works great too. We make ours with farfalle, buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, black olives, celery, corn, red onion, fresh basil, and our house dressing. Cold pasta with hot sandwiches? It works.
The caprese platter is another winner. Our homemade mozzarella with fresh tomatoes and basil. Creamy cheese, bright tomatoes. A nice break from the hearty sandwich.

Roasted Vegetables Add Color and Flavor

Roasted vegetables look beautiful and taste even better. Zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers, and mushrooms roasted with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Different textures, different flavors. Your plate looks amazing.
Keep it simple. Our customers don’t want sides that compete with their sandwich. They want sides that make the whole meal better.

Easy Stuff for Home

Coleslaw is classic for good reason. Shredded cabbage with light dressing cuts through rich flavors and adds crunch. Make it hours ahead.
Simple green vegetables work fine. Steamed broccoli or sautéed spinach, seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and a squeeze of lemon. Healthy without much fuss.
Potato salad is fine if you want something filling, but remember, your meatball sub is already substantial.

What We Tell People

For groups, get our catering platters. Mix meatball subs with antipasto misto and house salad: different flavors, different textures. Nobody gets overwhelmed.
For smaller meals, pair your sub with something fresh and light. Rich meatballs and melted cheese need bright, clean flavors to balance them.
