The beautiful thing about Boston is that there is seemingly always something new to discover. For those that complain the city is not big enough, not diverse enough, or simply boring, should perhaps stroll around a familiar neighborhood with a fresh, keen eye. After all, who knows what you might discover. Here in the North End, we’re located down Board Alley off of Hanover Street. Our secluded location is obvious, due to posted signage, but also easily passed by. Sounds a bit foolish, but the general business of Hanover Street can often be distracting to even the most observant of walkers. So, we always love when local sources give us a shout out and let our presence be known, just like this recent article featured on DigBoston.

Down Board Alley you’ll discover not one, but two of our ventures. Bricco Salumeria and Bricco Panetteria are quaint, but pack a high-quality punch. While the Panetteria offers some of the best and most delicious breads throughout the entire city, the Salumeria provides a variety of unique options. We’re an Italian specialty grocer offering an assortment of freshly prepared and packaged foods. So, while you can purchase goods for your home kitchen, you can also pop in during your lunch hour and grab one of our phenomenal sandwiches. Acknowledgements from local sources allow both city dwellers and out of towners to discover places they might not have otherwise, so thank you for the shout out DigBoston! Next time you’re on Hanover Street, keep an eye out for Board Alley. You’ll find us at the end, eager to serve you.
